Seth Lakeman has re-ignited interest in this form of guitar. It was very popular in the dance bands of the 1930's but lost out to the developing electric guitar. I have made several recently with different scale lengths to each customer's requirements.

Below is one with a scale length of 637mm and a lovely set of figured mahogany for the back & sides.

The tenor at the bottom of the page is one with a smaller body using figured American walnut for the back and sides and a scale length of 512mm.
